Ask Me Help Desk - Can You Save My Family Somebody!

:( I am a very desperate normal housewife I need financial help anyone out there that can help me? My husband has fallen into a debt of £370,000 with a loan shark. We manage to get to pay off £300,00 by selling all the assets we had, we both now bankrupt but still owe them a further £70K with interest mounting up to £2000 a week it's immoral there is no way we are able to find the final £70K to close this debt we are in arrears with the mortgage of our family home and in the process of repossession, we have a 4 yrs child to support I have exhausted all my monies and anything I have of any value left, now these loan sharks are threatening to do all sorts to our family, I am worried most for the safety of my child as these people don't mess about and are know for violence and holding people against there own will. What's worse still is I can't work as I unfortunately 12 years ago had a serious stroke and not fit to go to work otherwise I would have worked my socks off to get the money together, as a result of that I suffered extreme depression and suicidal all the time and with this debt hanging over us. I am at my wits end, can anyone help out there or know who I can go to for financial help? I know this is a stupid question but I am so so desperate and don't know what to do or who to turn to for help. I can't leave my husband as I swore to stick by him for richer or poorer and it wouldn't make any difference to our safety as they would still come after us until they got what they wanted which is the balance of £70K which is really interest on the money we originally borrowed to set up a business. Please anybody out there HELP! :(

Are you in the United States?

Since you used the Pound symbol, I would think that you are in the UK. It appears that you have exhausted all of your assets, as well as your borrowing potential. The only recourse that I can see is to contact the Law Authorities for help. In most places loan sharking is against the law. You have no more to give to the criminals, and the safety of your family is most important. I just hope that the Law is able to offer some measure of protection. If they are not, I would run as far as I could, and start your life anew.

You are too close to the problem to see clearly. What the "loansharks" are doing is illegal. You knew this when you did business with them. Your choices are all ugly... but your child's future is what is most important. Ask yourself in the mirror... what am I willing to do for my child.. How far am I willing to go?

Either you do things legally... going to the authorities... or you do things illegally... use your immagination. Either way you are doing business with the proverbial "devil".

I will tell you this... once you give in to their threats... you are a victim for life. You child will be there's. Is that what you really want?

Save your child at all costs.

Thank you for your advice, this seems like a wake up call for me and my family, but the decision is still very hard to make.:confused:
