If I have had a cell phone debt out standing, and it has been 9 years, what does the statute of limitations say about that? Does not their {cell company} have an insurance company that would have paid that by now?

My husband has a 4 year old cell phone debt, and he just got a letter from a lawyer stating he has 30 days to pay it off. They were willing to settle for half of the price of the bill though. I would just pay it. The sooner you pay it off, the sooner it will be off your credit. :)
You agreed to pay for services. You have a moral obligation to make those payments.
