So I found out a few days ago that I am pregnant about 7 weeks now, and I have only been to one doc apt my next is on Tues. so anyway Im so excited but my and my boyfriend just had sex and I was on top and it was kind of rough afterwards my lower abdomin and lower back hurt it was pretty bad for about 5 minutes and I had some spotting too which I haven't had at all. Also my vagina stings kind of bad and I don't understand what's going on. Until I can talk to my doc about this which I will I need some advice and information from you smart people out there. Your body is going through many changes. Being uncomfortable after sex is one of them. Chances are that your body decided to relax afterwards and the fact that your center of gravity is changing might explain the back pain. If you had an orgasm it will cause your uterus to contract... nothing to worry about till your dr says to worry... and feel painful. The spotting could be caused by your boyfriends fingernails. A small scratch can actually cause quite a bit of spotting due to the moist nature of the area. It means that it can't form a scab and seal itself off like a scratch in the open air does. So it bleeds a bit longer and causes worry. I would still however call your dr and describe it to him/her. At the very least call and talk to the nurse later today
