Dyed Hair Black, Left with Brown Spots
All right, so I had dark blonde hair in the first place. Then I dyed it black with a permanent dye . Once I had finished dying it, and it had dried, I found that I now have brown areas left in my hair. I am going to dye it again to cover these spots, but when will it be all right to do so? I really would prefer to do it within the next two days. Is that possible?

Thank you in advance for all replies.

I would have a professional fix it if I were you. Store bought boxed dyes, for lack of a better word, suck! This happened to me, and I dyed it again thinking it would fix, but it just made more spots and made the situation worse. In the end I ended up having to go to a salon and get it fixed anyway. :)

You can re-color your hair the same day or the next day if your hair is in good shape. But if you want to wait two weeks to correct the spotty color, you may do so. It's easier to go darker than it is to go lighter. You don't have to re-color your whole hair, you can just re-touch the uneven areas.
