    Internet Split?
    Hi,

My girlfriend and I both want to be on the internet at the same time but I don't have a wireless router. Is there a cheap way for both of us to get on at the same time other than a wireless router? Is there some kind of splitter out there that would work? Any advice would be great.

    Thanks

Yep a nomral wired router is a cost effective way of doing this.

There are a lot on the market and are extremely easy to setup.
A couple of good brands to look out for are Netgear and Linksys

There are certainly devices that allow you to share an internet connection. They're most commonly referred to by many names:

    - Wireless Router
    - Broadband Router
    - DSL Router
    - Cable Router

THey all pretty much do the same thing. They allow multiple users to share a single connection. Wireless routers in particular do allow wireless and wireless (many of them do). That's a safe bet and you can find those cheap.

What do you have for an internet connection now? If we know we can probably recommend a particular device for your needs.
