    Toilet non flush
    Hello,
We live in a 1976 bi-level.. recebntly in the past two or three years we have noticed that our toilet will not flush up stairs if we are using the washer... If we go away for several days the toilet takes two or three flushes before it will totally flush the whole way... By this I mean you push down the handle and the soil will just go round and round by never down! What might the Problem be? We have a sewer.

    Thanks,

    Matt

One of two things. Either the jet's clogged and won't start the siphon action or you have a partial blockage downstream from the washer that's impeding the flow when the toilet's flushed while the washer's discharging. Are there any bubbles coming up in the toilet when it's flushed? Regarsd, Tom
