Plug in your USB, then right-click on the USB then select on autoplay tab and select 'prompt me each time to choose an action'

    Hope it helps... ;)

Did your laptop ever support autoplay? And what operating system are you running?

What kind of file are you trying to play?
Word, Excel, and the like files do not have an autoplay function.

    Usual files with autoplay:
    1.)Medias(mp3, mp4, etc.)
    2.)Installers(game installers, etc.)
NOTE THAT THE AUTOPLAY FUNCTION ONLY APPEARS WHEN YOU TRY OPEN A FILE LOCATED ON AN EXTERNAL DRIVE(LIKE A USB OR CD)
