Has anyone tried cranberry pills against UTIs?
What brand do you recommend?
Are there side-effects to these pills?
Thank you

A few of my elderly clients who can't drink cranberry juice for one reason or another, some because it is acidic, take the tablets and I am so glad that there is an alternative to stave of UTIs this way. None report adverse side effects. It is just another way of dealing with a problem encountered by many women.
Why not just drink cranberry juice?
But we don't know that the poster suffers from this type of problem now do we?
Alka, yes we do know that the poster is asking about UTIs cause she said that.
AZO is a commonly used brand.
They say the juice only contins 10% of cranberries... the rest is water , etc.Quote:

Northland cranberry juice is good, and you can get the blended kind so it tastes better, and it will still work fine. Another brand is Ocean Spray, but make sure you look for the 100% cranberry juice variety.Quote:

When the alternate pill came out everyone jumped on it. :)
Does anyone suggest a specific brand? Is it safe to take those pills if I'm 18?
CVS has their own brand, and they work. Azo has two products and both work also.
I would suggest asking your doctor, alanalov.
