Got a concern mabey you can help me with, I am 8 weeks pregnant and for the past few days on and off I have been have brown discharge it looks like old blood mixed and I notice it when I wipe.
It started lite then stopped for a day and it started back last night but it has gotten heaver since the first time the other day.
Is this normal this is my third pregnancy and I never had this with my first two.

It may be. I bled with this pregnancy and everything was fine. But I would call your doctor and make sure they don't want to see you. Better safe than sorry!

They set me up for an ultrasound tomorrow morning I'm just worried, as I never experienced this with my other two.

I had bleeding and some cramping at 5 weeks and they got me in that day and did an ultrasound and it was all fine... they said sometimes it just happens. esp. if you have had multiple pregnancies, and they just don't know why. Try not to stress.. you'll be able to see that little heartbeat on the screen soon. Good luck

Thanks if I can just make it till tomorrow but it seems soooooooooooo far away, I was just worried because I was reading that this was the first sign for a lot of people that they were miscarrying.

Is there any cramping?

See I fell last week on my stomach and had some cramping with that but never bleed then about two days after the fall I started noticing the brown discharg so I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it. The cramping has stopped.

In the beginning of my pregnancy I had some cramping and I went in for an ultrasound to see if it was eptopic. They found some bleeding around my amniotic sac that they were not sure where it came from. It ended up being mothing but they kept tabs on it through out. Just inform your health care provider for any questions or concerns not only so you know what to do, but also so it stays on record.

Would your condition cause the brown discharge its weird how it will stop and then come back within hours.

I did have a pinkish or brownish discharge every so often throughout. I got used to it very quickly. But I would definitely get it checked out. Please let us know how your ultrasound goes. I pray all is well.

I hope everything goes well for you, I'm pretty sure it will. When I miscarried I had heavy, dark red, bleeding along with very bad cramps. Sounds like your spotting is pretty normal. Good luck!

Hey guys just wanted to let you know about the ultrasound today, everything went great the baby is doing wonderful with a heart rate of 167 and measuring in at 8 weeks so right on time.
They just want me to take it a little easier and put my feet up, thanks to everyone for your support.
