I am 24 years old and I was on the depo shot for 4 years and have been off for about 4 years. I always have had irregular cycles since the shot, and haven't been on anything since but I can't get pregnant for some reason and I would like to know if its because of me and my cycle?

I don't know much about what the depo shot does to your cycle but I do know this. If you are having irregular cycles there is a chance that you may not be ovulating. I had similar problems and was diagnosed with PCOS. I would buy an ovulation kit and try it for a while. If you have a hard time getting your period then you may ask your doctor for a provera prescription in order to induce your "mischievious" period. Other than that, be patient, wait, be patient, wait a little longer, and get rid of as much stress as possible. I have been Trying to conceive for 8 months now and nothing yet but I know it will one day. Just be thankful for everymorning you wake up because it can be a fun and very sexy adventure if you get your mind right! (One way we would relieve some of the "gotta have sex this is business not fun" is by dressing up, using toys, and roleplaying.)
