Record from satellite to a vcr
    Hi
I have been trying endlessly to record on my vcr from my satellite dish. I have a bell express view 4100. I have re-arranged the cords till I can't remember what I last did. I would like very much to record a tv program to my vcr and watch later. Whenever I have tried to do it all the tape shows is snow. Please Help!

Ok, here we go, 1) first of all, connect the video and audio cables from your satellite receiver to your vcr, 2) then connect the audio video cables from your vcr to your TV. 3) now, in order to watch TV you have to have your vcr turned on, depending on the model and brand, the vcr should have a little switch which says ch3 ch4, it only means that if you set it on channel 3 ( the switch ) then you have to also set your vcr to channel 3 to watch the programming from the dish. So, if you connect it like this, what you see on the TV you should be able to record on the vcr, make sure the vcr settings are set to record channel 3, this is only one way to do it, there are several different ways.
