    Midi files
    Hello,

I am having issues playing midis files on the internet. I just rollback to Windows Media Player 10 and ever since I have not been able to play midi files. My sound card is working fine. Also, I went to the master volume and nothing is muted and all volume is up. It is not a browser issue as I have tried on both Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. I tried clicking on the Microsoft GS Wavetable synch on my sound and audio properties and hit apply, but when I do, it goes back to an empty line. Does anyone know how to fix this other than having to uninstall and reinstall WMP. Thanks.

I have fiddled with everything in the volume and audio options, and I am not a musician (at least not a very good one:) to answer trevordog. Honestly, I don't know if WMP is the culprit, but I can play other files such as mp3's, wmas, etc on WMP just fine. The thing is, when I go on to different websites and try to play midi files on various websites, it will not work. I think there might be something up with some files in my registy perhaps, because several months back I couldn't play any audio off any website, that I fixed (it wasn't adobe flashplayer, I have that installed). Any ideas?
