Is it Ok for two same blood types to have children?
My Fiancé and I are excited to get married and ready for a family and we were just curious if there were any problems with the fact we are both A+ blood types... I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but I've looked all over and can't find any information about it. Thanks in advance for any help.

It'll be fine I think you have got confused with Rhesus facotrs. This only causes a problem when the baby is positive and the mother is negative. If you are both A+ then you don't even have to consider this.

If you both have the same blood type then the chances are the baby will also be the same as you or O should you both be heterozygotes (one gene A one gene O). There is no way this could cause a problem.

Yup, you're fine. The problem lies in if you have a negative blood type and your hubby has a positive blood type.
