I'm building a one drawer box (with no top cover) to put my clothes in. it's a 3 ft x 3 ft box 7" tall. everything is put together properly (the drawer its self is 1 1/2" smaller to allow for the sliders the drawer slides on to open) but now I have come across a problem the drawer will fit in but will not slide. The bottom of it is pressing against the bottom slider and it's a snug fit. But when I first put it all together it slid fine. What can I do. I don't have much money and can't afford new supplies. I've ripped it apart 4 times now, planned down the sliders but nothing seems to be working. Did I just waste my money or is it possible to fix

When I Build Drawers I Always Use Metal Slides, Or Ball Bearing Slides, I Have Went Old School And Built Wooden Slides, Im Having A Hard Time Understanding Which You Have Used. If This Is All Built Out Of Wood Then You Need To Use Some Perfin Wax,(not Spelled Correctly) Or They Make Plastic Gliders You Can Nail On To Where Its Not Wood On Wood Friction

So If This Isn't Your Problem You May Be Rubbin On The Front Syle. In This Case You May Of Used To Thin Of Plywood Bottom For The Drawer. If It Is As Wide As You Say I Can See That Sagging Even Without Any Clothes In It, If This Is The Case Either Use A 3/4 Board And Cut It To Go On The Inside Of The Box Or Use A Divider Of Some Kind And Give The Bottom Of Your Drawer Some Support.

I used the old school wooden ones. The plywood drawer has been reinforced. It doesn't sag at all. So what your saying is possibly I need some perifin wax... to prevent the wood from rubbing and sticking. I'll give that a shot.. thanks a bunch :)
