    Shaving below?
Hi I'm 15 years old, I have recently just started shaving down (all of it)below because I'm going on holiday and I have a white bikini so I didn't want any colour coming through. I used some tips by something I heard, firstly I cleaned below, massarged some dove soap onto it then shaved with a "venus razor". I was left with red blotches and I seemed to bleed a lot even though I hadn't been pushing too hard onit, now I have lumps and red patches, its stubble down there, I don't know what to do, I'm going on holiday on Sunday :(.. I seemed to be itching all day and at school the stubble-ness kept coliding with my knickers which was very uncomfftable, I find it hard to put underwear on knowing it will just hurt and scratch.
I don't want to be itching on holiday.
Please can you help me, I need to go something by Sunday.
If I was to leave it for a while do you think it would grow back?
How long would this take to do so?
Has anyone else been in my position?
    Please help me I'm scared!
    Thank you,
Hopefully something can be done to solve this.
    PLEASE HELP ME!

I use a depilatory for that area and there are a lot on the market. Neet have one for the bikini area only. If your outing is next Sunday in July then you have nothing to worry about. Just get that area settled down with some moisturizer where it stops itching and hurting and then go by a bikini kit to take care of the problem.

I do feel for you and assure you that you are not the only one in this position. I have REALLY sensitive skin especially in that area. A few little "Tricks" that I have found to help are as follows:
    1. Use a moisturizing conditioner in lieu of the soap when shaving (this will keep you from nicking)
    2. Shave in the direction of the hair growth (this will keep from knicking as wel)
    3. Let the area completely dry and then rub a light layer of underarm antipersperant deoderant that is not highly parfumed on the area to avoid the bumps
    4. Lastly- ONLY use non-scented lotions about an hour after shaving and this will ensure that there is no redness...

    Hope these little tricks help!
