Okay I am not a doctor so you might want to do some further research. It could be that you had a cyst. I have had cysts ever since I was 15. My flows would be crazy and last forever. Women can get them at all different ages and they can come without any warning or pain. Some are painful but not all are. Depends on the size they get. Mine was corrected with birth control. It regulated my cycle and helped with the excess bleeding. You might want to try and get in to see a doctor if there is continuous heavy bleeding and if it goes over 10 days. It could be something serious. It could also be uterine fybroids. I don't know much about them so you might Google it. My mother has them and she has extremely heavy periods and was told birth control would correct it also.

If you are hemorraging (the way you describe) taking vitamins is not going to make it better. You need to see a doctor, or go to your local ER and be checked out. Not having insurance is not a good excuse for not taking care of yourself.

Is there something you haven't told us, I would advise being completely honest with any doctor you see in an ER.
