    Bump on outside of vagina
I am 22 and 2 months pregnant with my second child I have been with the same man for 8 years and I have recently found a painful bump on the outside of my vagina under my pubic hair. I don't know what it could be? I was tested for HIV and STD's with my first child and the all came back negative. My relationship is completely monagamous. Not sure what it could be?

If it turns into a blister could be herpes.. pregnancy can bring on an outbreak... and a regular std test would not prove positive unless you had a culture done at the time of the outbreak... then again it could just be hpv but that shouldn't be painful.. hpv is just warts... and even though they sound nasty they are one of the most common stds and are harmless...

    Hey
Hey, I was just in the same boat. Except the whole pregnancy thing. Go to your gyno to be sure. But I had a small bump too, and my gyno told me that I had gotten a cut down there and that some fluid got in it to cause the bump. That it was nothing to be worried about. It sounds like that could definitely happen with having a child. But go to your doctor to be sure.

I am a medical assistant and actually have the same situation. If your doc didn't tell you it was an ingrown hair, then it may be a cyst. Usually if it hurts, no matter where a bump or lump is, that is a good sign. Typically anything that hurts isn't cancerous. If it is bothersome, I would aask you doc to remove it.
