I purchases a Hampton Bay Transitional Colleciton "Medeteranean" fan. After installing it, everything works except the low speed on the fan. The other fan speeds work and the light works. This fan is operated by remote control. I even reprogrammed another remote from another fan, everything except the low speed works. So it wasn't the remote. Do you have any suggestions as to why it has this problem and what I can do to make it work. Really don't want to uninstall it and take it back. Thanks

I think that is your best option. If it won't work on low, something is wrong with the can. Check and make sure the blades can turn freely and nothing is binding or rubbing.
