    D and c after a miscarriage?
How do I know if I need a d and c after a miscarriage? Do I just assume that everything came out ? (sorry to be so graphic)

Doctor should do a follow up ultrasound to make sure all the material is out. When confirmed no material left behind then no d and c is required. If after a certain amount of time is passed and ultrasound shows that there is still material left then it will then be necessary to get a d and c.

You need to be examined by your doctor to make sure that you had a complete miscarriage. NEVER assume anything when it comes to your health.

Most likely your doctor will do an ultrasound and decide whether a D&C is necessary.

When I miscarried by doctor confirmed it. I was not hurting or anything it was a total shock for me. Just because there's nothing hurting you or blood isn't active or anything doesn't mean everything is fine. Make sure everything is complete with a doctor ,there's nothing like good health.
