    Bad hair dye reaction
    I`ve tried semi permanent dyes and still had the same reaction,even with the ones that don't contain amonia or peroxide.I do a patch test on back of my ear and always get burnt.hair is such a mess I look ridiculous.I could put a rinse in weekly until it grows out but can't find one tnat will take too my hair.any other ideas??

    Go to a salon and talk to a professional about your options. If the at home boxed dyes are burning you quit using them, you could burn your whole scalp would could be dangerous and painful If you get burned and your hair doesn't take to the color, you might not be able to dye at all.

    Thanks for reply,I`ve been to salon and they would strip my hair then dye it back to original color,but I would more than likely have a reaction.they advised me against it.im lost now... god help me when I start going grey...

    If a beautician has already advised you against it, then I would go by their advice. A chemical burn can be very serious and painful, I wouldn't want anyone to go through that :)

    It seems to me that you a have sensitivity to hair dyes. Avoid using permanent, semi or demi permanent hair dyes. You could try temporary rinses. Temporary rinses coat the hair with color and will not irritate the scalp or damage the hair.
