I have a 1993 honda HB with a d15 it runs, run and runs then after awhile it goes all crazys then shuts of when I jump start it, it turns on and runs for a little then shuts off what can it be?

. Check for codes.
. Change fuel filter.
. Check Ignition Control Module and coil. AutoZone and O'Reilly Auto can do this for free.

It that when I am driviing for a little it seems like the battery isn't getting a charge then it dies and then my friends jump it and it runs for about 5mins max
