Our dog Maltese/zu mix has a bad ear infection with reddish discharge. He cries in pain.

Any home remedy?

Vet ASAP! Your dog probably has a very serious ear infecton , please take him to the vet. You would not want to try an home remedy. His ear drum may be open. Only a vet can determine this. Usually ear infections are not that expensive to treat. Or at least my dogs and cats were not, If yours has a bloody discharge I would think that it has been infected for quite sometimes. Left untreated it could cause death. Infections can go to other parts of the body.

NO. If it is an infection, only antibiotics from the vet will help. If it is causing pain, it could damage his hearing. Get him to the vet Monday morning. If you have let it go a few days, it may even be best to find a vet today. You owe him proper care.
