    Cat labor
I'm pretty sure that my cat is about to pop. Her belly is huge and she can barely walk without laying down. I know that when labor starts cats lose their appetite. However my cat is still eating and even more than normal. Could she still go into labor if she still has an appetite.

Yes,she will still be hungry. She probably has a spot that she has chosen to give birth, and she will go there when she is ready. If she disappears
She is probably in labor, and needs her privacy.Good luck.;)

Yes not all cats go on hunger strike before going into labour..

Some feel the need to eat/drink more to help her produce her milk for the arrival of kittens, not all cats follow a rule of thumb and they were not born with a set of instrucions telling them what they should and shouldn't do,

She may well go into labour yet still have a very strong appetite..
She will find somewhere cosy as pompano says and she will hide when she is in labour unless the spot she chose is a box or something already prepared for her,
If she does disappear check in all the dark , quiet corners for her as they like it dark and quiet.. don't desturb her too much make her comfy and keep an eye to make sure no problems arise..

    Good luck with the kittens
