Need the titles of two movies...
One was about a girl who inheirits a house and moves in with her boyfriend. I was real.y young when I saw this, so it was late 80s early 90s. She thinks the house is haunted and goes to the library to see what she can find out about it. The part I remember most vividly is when the librarian comes to the house to bring her some more info. She is cleared through the gates, but when her car is halfway through them, they slam shut on the car, which catches fire and kills the librarian. I also seem to remember something about a piano. The house catches fire and won't let the couple out and I believe the girl yells if you love me, you'll let me go, and they get out of the house...

The other movie is about a couple going on a trip in their sailboat(?) they come across a disabled(and destroyed) boat. They find a man and woman on board and take them onto their boat. The rest of the movie is about how this couple try to survive. The lady finds her cats head in the prop(?) and then her husband is sent out on a raft by the crazy couple. One of the crazies had an allergic reaction to some kind of medicine, so the lady dumps a whole bottle into the food. I think this was called Adrift, but can't remember. Any help would be appreciated.

Your first one is the 1981 TV movie This House Possessed, starring Parker Stevenson of The Hardy Boys fame, along with Lisa Eilbacher, Slim Pickens, and Barry Corbin. I suspect that your instinct on the second one is correct and that you are thinking of the 1993 TV movie Adrift, starring Kate Jackson, Bruce Greenwood, and Kelly Rowan (The O.C.). The plot summary for this one states: "Katie and Guy take a sea cruise in their sailboat and discover a couple on a wrecked boat, victims of a brutal attack by their crew. They take Eliza and Nick on board. The new boarders appear nervous about returning to Honolulu, and when the boat's engines die and other little incidents occur, Katie and Guy start wondering whether the shipwrecked couple are what they appear to be." Probably a bit of a knock-off of 1989's Dead Calm from Australia.
