    intermittent turn signals
    I have a 2001 jeep cherokee the turn signals worked when they felt like it.I replaced the flasher and for two weeks no problem.Now The signals work randomly.Any ideas.Thanks

    . Check all under-dash fuses, just to be safe. Here's how:

    . Disconnect the negative battery cable and check out the combination switch. It may be a connection issue or the switch may need replacing. You may even want to spray the old switch with WD-40.

    OK I know almost nothing about cars so where would I find this combination switch. The flasher I replaced was under the glove box.But I know there is a fuse box of sorts under the hood. Thanks

    The fuse box under the hood of my car is near the air filter. Hope that helps :)

    The turning signal is a combination switch on almost all cars these days; i.e. it controls turning signals and high-low beam headlights, etc.
