The LSE (London School of Economics) is one of the most internationally recognised Graduate and Post Graduate study centres in the UK. Former pupils have included cabinet ministers etc...

A little known gem of a university in the UK is Swansea, Wales, which is in the UK. They have an excellent Economics programme and many graduates go on to fill jobs with International banks.

It's not the easiest question to answer as e.g. insitutions' entry requirements differ.

You have top universities such as Oxford, Cambridge, Durham, London School of Economics, UMIST in Manchester.

Hope that gives you some help into stating your research.

Oh if you have any further questions, feel free to email me. My educational background is in accountancy but when choosing it I looked into a lot of business schools. Plus I used to work for a university and so know about funding etc.

    :-)
