I'm 48 years old and was having frequent menstrual migraines. I've now been taking the progesterone only pill named Micronor. I have had either bleeding or spotting on most days during this 1st 4-5 weeks on this pill. No migraines fortunately, but I can't go a day without protection - just in case of a bleed. Is this normal? Please help.

You have only been on the pill for 4 - 5 weeks? If so, this may be what is known as breakthrough bleeding. It would be best for you to contact your doctor to be sure that this is normal for you.
