Okay.. this is a long one.. but I'm hoping someone can help us on this
In 1994 my grandmother passed away... accourding to the quit claim deed we just found... it has my grandfather signing a deed with my grandfather and uncles name on it with rights to survivorship only 2 days after the funeral... not only does that sound very fishy to us.. because of the timing of the signing... but.. my grandfather had talked to everyone about putting my uncles name on, after this was done because he didn't want the state to take his house when he was gone... so if he did sign it.. we believe he didn't know what he was signing as he was greiving terribly...
Also... the attorny that did this... was a friend of my uncle's... and the witnesses that signed this... were related to the attorny... and... one of the witnesses that signed it ( a woman in her.. l believe late 40's at that time).. her father passed away oct 26th... the first day of the viewing for him was oct. 29... so I find it hard to believe that she was also witnessing a deed signing on oct 28th... and... instead of the deed to be mailed to my grandfather after it was recorded... it was returned to the attorny... we believe so he could mail it to my uncle who lived out of state.. so my grandfather would never know what was going on...
Now after my grandfather passing... and my uncle doing so many backstabbing things... we found out he sold the house... which a will states all will be divided equally among living children or grandchildren... and we just found out about this deed... can this be undone... or... has my uncle screwed everyone?
