My sink will not turn off... cold water side in the bathroom.

If the faucet's a two handled one then it sounds like a washer has broken and must be replaced. Turn the water off and open up the cold side of the faucet. Check and replace the washer being careful to pick out any broken pieces left in the seat. Before you button it up turn on the water for a minute to flush out any pieces that remain. Good luck, tom
