Ask Me Help Desk - Does he really like me?

I met this guy a few weeks ago. He showed a huge interest in me and even asked my friend (the one that introduced us) about me after the first time we met. We now spend quite a bit of time together (every weekend), I've met all his friends, including his best friend (the dreaded female best friend) and his brother and they all had great things to say about to me to him. From the outside, we look like a couple, and someone even referred to me as his girlfriend once, and he didn't object to it. We are cuddly and all that stuff. But there are sometimes when I just think he doesn't like me. Like when we are online, he never seems to want to talk to me, or always has something he has to do. I just keep getting these weird feelings that he's not interested, but then the weekend comes and it's all fine and dandy. Also, when I go home, sometimes when we say good-bye he hesitates to kiss me good-bye, yet we are all kissy kissy when we are together. He has also said he doesn't want a girlfriend so I don't know how to go about this whole thing. I don't want to get hurt. I am probably over analyzing this WAY too much. I guess what I'm trying to figure out is if he actually likes me, or just the company... is he going to drop me as soon as something better comes along? :confused:

Guys are so hard to read. There could be several explanations for his actions, or lack thereof. One could be that he is too busy, or just really doesn't want a girlfriend right now. It's very hard to like someone and them not like you in the same way, but that does happen too. Another could be that he's scared of commitment. Or the dreaded thing could be that he is seeing someone else. What it boils down to though is this... A man should be willing to spend time with the one he likes, and not just on the weekends. Everyone is busy, but you have to make time for one another. If he is interested in you then maybe he is just taking his time and trying to get to know you. Maybe he does like you, but feels like he's moving too fast. The best thing to do instead of playing the guessing game is to just ask him how he feels. I know that it's hard, and you might not hear the answer that you want to hear, but at least you'll get an answer. Good luck to you.

Well, I mean, he is not just willing to see me on weekends, but I live just out of town and work all week so that is the only chance I get to see him. I'm sure that if I asked him to do something during the week, he would. The thing that bugs me is that we are just like a couple, only with out actually being called a couple. Normally I wouldn't be concerned and would just go with it, but it's the fact the he has already said that he doesn't want a girlfriend. And I know he isn't seeing anyone else. He even said he was surprised with himself that he has even started "seeing" me. He has really had no interest in dating since he and his girlfriend of 3.5 years broke up. I guess I just find myself questioning because it seems to happen a lot where I meet a guy I like, but then he loses interest very fast. Anyway, I think I am just trying to convince myself here... Thank you for you advice.

I think you might just be over reacting I had the same problem but I just confronted them how I feel I think that's what you should do just tell him how you are feeling if he drops you he is just daft but if he really likes you he won't just drop you
