I dyed my hair perm black in November 2006, up to this time I can't get the color out. I need help desperately. My original hair color if I can remember is a mousy chocolate brown w/honey hi-lights.

I dye my hair all the time. What you need to do is get a blonde dye real light or ultra blue bleaching dye and do your hair. Then condition it real good. Wait a few days or a week and then dye it back as close as you can get to your natural color.Quote:

In order to go back to your original color, you will need to re-color your hair. Remember that if you use a permanent color, it will result in a red/orange shade. You should consider going to the salon and have them to do a corrective color. They may be able to match your original color as close as possible without the brassy tones.
