No water to Kitchen sink .everywhere else is fine
    Hi,

I just added several water outlets in the basement to build a shower, toillete and sink. These outlets are now all capped. I have water running throughout the house except for the kitchen, all other outlets are being supplied water. What could it be?

    Thx in advance,
    Raphael

Sounds like when you worked on your pipes you dislodged minerals built up in the pipe walls and the first faucet making a draw,( your kitchen sink) sucked crud up into the aerator or the inlet ports of the cartridge.
The first thing I would do nis remove the aerator and check and clean the screens. If that didn't help then I'd shut the water off and take the valve apart and look at the inlet ports and clear them if necessary. Before you button up the faucet, turn the water on for a minute to flush out the supplies. Good luck, Tom

I just ran into this same issue here at a large property I manage in Engineering, we have very tough water here in Parker , Colorado so I was stumped for a couple of hours. Eventually I pulled the cartridge off the kitchen faucet and slowly slowly, turned the water back and sure enough a ton of debris came through the lines. Thanks for the post and I hope this helps others out as well.
