Ask Me Help Desk - Vagina pain

OK well I have a lot of pain in the inside of my vagina and up further too it hurts when I urinate but not when I start to its when I'm almost finished and its like I can't get it all out because it hurts too much and when I'm done its very sore and after a lot of pain it goes away for a little while but then comes back.I was checked for a bladder infection and was told that there was nothing there but they put me on antibiotics but theydid nothing.I don't no what else it could be can someone help me pleaseeeee!!

Sounds like a UTI (urinary tract infection), you must have it checked out by a doctor and get on the appropriate antibiotics asap.

Find another doctor if necessary, it is defniately an infection of one sort or another and antibiotics will help.

Now I understand you have been on antibiotics in the past, sometimes it takes an adjustment in the meds for them to work properly. Also, you must take them EXACTLY as directed for them to work.

Are you sexually active? Is there a chance for an STD?

No I'm not but I have been and I was perscribed antibiotics for 1 pill twice a day for 3 days and I did exactily that I drink lots of watter and I take cranberrt capsuls and I was checked for bacteria in my urine and he said there was nothing so I'm lost as for what it could be
