Do you mean:

Or do you mean:

$<br /> log (x^{64}) = 6<br />$

I mean the first one, yeah not the second one... you know how to solve it.

OK. Use the definition of the logarithm: if
$log _A B = C$
then that means that $A^C = B$ . So in this case,
$log _x 64 = 6$
means that:
$x^6 = 64$ .
