    Quit claim deeds
My grandfathers name is on a quit claim deed that added my uncle with right to survivorship... this was done 3 days after my grandfather buired his wife of 60 something years... and all of us know that my grandfather never would have done this... how can we prove that he didn't sign that either in the right frame of mind... or... without knowledge that he even signed it...
Also... my uncle didn't sign his name to it... is he suppose to? This was done in 1994
Also it was done through a attornies office that is a friend of my uncle's... instead of the deed being mailed back to my grandfather after being filed.. it was mailed back to the attornies office...

    Hello neecy:

Ok, do you want to hire an attorney to challenge the probate proceedings? Of course, I'm assuming that's what's going on. If it happened a long time ago and you're just now getting angry about it, that is another matter.

In any case, take what evidence you've got to an attorney and see what he says. If he doesn't take the case, he won't charge you.

Is Grandfather still alive? Can he testify that he had no intention of giving the property to your uncle? If Grandfather is not alive, then you will need to challenge the deed in court.
