I need some help my dog has stopped eating. SHe drinks but will not eat and if I try and get her to eat she will go and hide behind the chair. She is only 5 years old and has never been sick. Does anyone have any advice as to what is going on.

Do not try to force food on your dog. Do as labman and his sticky suggest. Just please do not make things worse by making her hide from you and the food. Continuing to try and shove food at her may only cause a different set of problems.

My brother has a 9 year old somoa, she was diagnosed w/ diabeties last week and now in order to take her shots she has to eat, well she won't. She is very week, she's been in the hospital all week with high levels and something in her urine that they said shouldn't be there... I don't know much about this topic, does anyone else.
