Will tongue scraping cure major garlic breath
My husband's onion breath literally wakes me up at night. He brushes and gargles before he goes to bed and about an hour later his mouth goes back to garlic odor hell. I'm four months pregnant and I'm not sleeping much. Will tongue scraping help? Is there anything else that we can try? Oh and it doesn't help that his favorite food is indian curry.

I love curry, but I feel your pain. No, I never felt tongue scraping helped much but I always found that a mixture of 3% peroxide and water (about l part peroxide 3 parts water) and gargling would keep that odour away, but it has to be done all the time and not just every now and then. On second though, tongue scraping while using the peroxide will probably be better.

Tongue scraping may help, stay away from mouthwashes with alcohol in them (Listerine) as this can just aggravate the odor. Eating fresh parsley is supposed to help with bad breath (have never tried it myself but some swear by it).
