Hi! I just purchased a pair of glasses for my 17 year old son from Walmart. He only needs them for distance. He has never worn glasses before, but he said that after he takes them off, he has eyestrain and sometimes a headache. I took him back to Walmart and they checked his prescription against his glasses twice and then the doctor reexamined him. He didn't find anything wrong or drastically different that would warrant a new prescription. Has anyone else ever experienced this? Could it be that he is just not used to wearing glasses? Should I take him to another eye doctor to have a second opinion?

I experienced this when I first started wearing glasses but I would definitely get a second opinion, just in case. Our eyes are way to precious! It would also be great to do a little background checking on optometrist before hand.
