    Lean on home
    I have a contractor that what's to put a lean on my home and he has no contrack I have paid him up to what he has done .but he has not fin the job I don't need him wright now to fin the home I am doing other things to the home and I don't need to wock wright now.can he put a lean on the home with no contrack...

    Can a contractor put a lean on my home with no contrackt?and the work is not done and paid up to what he has done?

    You have a contract, a verbal one. If you and the contractor spoke, agreed to what work was to be done, agreed on a price,

    If he has done some of the work, and is owed more money , he can put a lien on your home for what he is still owed for the work he has done, or for damages if you cancell your agreement with him.
