    Drawers will not slide
We bought an unfinished chest of drawers. The drawers are extremely difficult (next to impossible) to slide in/out. We have put bar soap, but no luck. Any other ideas?

    Thanks.

Are you sure the rollers are set inside the glides? Perhaps in bringing in home and handling it got jarred.

There are no rollers -- it is all wood.

If you can see where it is sticking, sand the glides and maybe open up the openings on the drawer with a razor knife or something similar to relieve the pressure

I would lightly sand with 150 grit sandpaper and also apply a lubricant such as soap to any areas where there is friction.
