I met this guy quite awhile ago and we have been dating. He says he wants us to be just friends, but he calls me on the phone and e-mails me to ask me out on dates. I see him at least 2 to 3 times a week. He even comes to my work to see me. When we are done with our dates he hugs and kisses me very passionately. Is he or is he not interested in me in a romantic way?

Maybe he fears rejection? Does he see other people? How are you with him? What's "quite awhile ago?"

I hope that I am wrong, but maybe he is lonely and fills his time by socialising with you?

Check to see how many friends he has. If he doesn't have many friends, or is like new to the area or something like that, you have your answer right there. If he's got options socially, and still chooses you, I think he's just being a guy and refusing to admit he might actually have feelings.

Well For Him To Call You E Mail You And Visit You At Work Is Enough Right There... I Feel If Any Man Does That Then He Cares... but Not Only That You Guys Kiss And Hug?? Well... if He Doesn't Want A Relationship With Youthen He Mighty Friendly And You May Not Be The Only One He Visits At Work Or Invites Out On Dates...

Well I guess my own question is answered. He went to very attentive, passionate and being in contact all the time to completely avoiding me. I am glad he did it now before I completely fell in love with him.
