    Gas Laws
A centrifugal air compressor delivers 12.96 Kg/s and I need to establish the volume of air delivered per second in cubic metres.

The intake air pressure is 1.013 Bar and 15 degrees Celsius. The specific gas constant for air is 287 J Kg K.

I have come up with 10.57 cubic metres using the gas law PV=mRT. Is this correct?

    Thanks.

Yup, I got the same answer as you.

    Thanks Capuchin.

I wasn't too sure if I had used the correct units as this conversion had not been covered in my studies.

I converted kg into Moles and then used the mole gas constant, rather than use the Kg gas constant you were given.

Can you please let me know the mole gas constant and your method so that I fully understand.

    Thanks.
