Pending Citizenship and All othe Documents are Expiring
I applied for citizenship in December 2005. Passed the test, interview, etc. The National Security Check wasn't back and they said it could take 6 months. It's now been over a year and a half since I applied. My Green Card is expiring next month. I read you can get a stamp in your passport by an Immigration Agent. I just looked at my passport and it expired this month. I don't want to pay a fee to get either of these documents renewed, especially since my citizenship should be back by now. Is there anything I can do??

    Help!

    Very Frustrated.

    Thanks

Have you called to check on the status? Maybe something is delaying it still, maybe they need other documents, could be anything.

Call and if there isn't a final decision yet I would get it renewed, there's really no way to avoid a renewal fee unless they tell you your citizenship is approved.
