I can remember watching a movie when I was little about two teenagers. The boy I think is a pilot and gets killed in a crash. He comes back as a ghost to visit his girlfriend. I know the movie is late 70's or early 80's. Any Ideas??

There was a movie about a boy killed in a chicken race who comes back as a guardian angel for his girlfriend's son.

Actually the kid died in a plane crash, I can remember him first appearing to her in a stable, he didn't know he was dead though for a while. This one is probably pretty tough to find I think it might have been on Disney channel back in the 80's. Thanks though

I believe one movie that fits your description is the Wraith with Charlie Sheen.
He comes back in an exotic sport car. He gets revenge on the guys that killed him and he visits his fiancé. She doesn't recognize him but knows there is something familiar about him. His brother figures it out at the end, and Charlie leaves the car with him as he goes to "the beyond".
It had a sort of science fiction and spiritual angle to it as the car would crash into pieces, and then reassemble and sometimes fly away.
