So I was just wondering if the pill could mess up a pregnancy test? If I took a test when I was on the inactive pills and on my period and it was negative than there is no way I am pregnant correct?:confused:

Well firstly, just because a pregnancy test says negative doesn't mean that you are absolutely not pregnant, there is always a margin of error in any test. The best thing to do in every situation like this is to see your doctor.

I don't know that the pill would have any effect on the result of a hpt test. I don't think that it would. You could be pregnant, and just don't have enough hcg built up in your system to register on a test yet, OR you aren't pregnant. If you doubt the results of the test, call your doctor and speak with them, as it is important for you to stop use of the pill asap, IF you ARE pregnant.
