Pregnant and not sure which guy can be the dad
    Hello,
My name is amanda and I just need to ask a question and wanted some opinions. I am 8 weeks pregnant and there are two possible fathers. The first one is dan. Dan is the father of my first son. Me and dan had broken up in late dec of 2006. Me and dan were seeing each other once in a while after that. Then I started to date josh. That was about a month and he went back to his ex. But to get to the point. My last period started April 23 2007 and ended April 27 2007. The last time I slept with dan was April 27th. About two days later I dated josh and we started to sleep with each other. From what the doctors say is I concived may 7th or the 8th. Josh knew from the moment I stared to date him that I had slept with dan a few days before. When I found out I was pregnant I reminded him and he just told me well I guess there will have to be a third one if this isn't mine. I heard that semen last only 4 to 7 days in your body, but who knows what's true, but I just want to know if anyone could help me with any info it's greatly appreciated. Thak you so much for your time.

The only way to be sure and clear everyone's head is to have a paternity test when the baby is born.

I agree a paternity test is the only way to make sure. It is true that sperm can live in your body for 3 to 5 days. Once the baby is born do a paternity test and see who the father is. Good luck!

 Girl I'm not sure what to tell you but get a paternity test if the possible fathers are willing to take the test

The date of conception is really up in the air. The date the doctors gave you was just the best possible time for conception according to your cycle, but You can fall pregnant anytime during your cycle. Even at the very beginning and very end... Once the baby is bigger and they can give you a more accurate reading of how old they think it is (via ultrasound) it may gie you a better idea, but really, after having sex so close together, the only way to know for sure is to do exactly as the others suggested and get a paternity test after the baby is born. There are tests CVS (chronic Villus Sampling) and Aminocentisis that can determine paternity in utero, but these are rarely done for paternity purposes alone, typically they are there for genetic testing.. good luck hun!
