Our wide by side maytage refrigerator is giving us trouble. The ice maker is not making ice. It is making a noise like it wants to dispense ice but it is not making it.

Is it filling with water?Is the freezer 12 degrees or lower? Move the on/off lever up and down a couple times then leave in on position. Any other info you can give?

The ice machine started working now. I did move the arm on and off a few times and this morning there was ice. Thank you!

Great. Sometimes those arms just get to where they do not close all the way to make contact. Maybe ice or something gets caught in them
