    Prior years tax refund
If an individual plans to leave the USA permanently and loses his / her immigration status, can they get back taxes aid over the years like Federal, Medical…etc? If so, what’s the process?

    Thanks

If you renounce your citizenship, why should that entitle to you any benefits from your former country ?

There is NO LINK between taxes paid and benefits earned.

Hence, you are NOT ENTITLED to a refund for Social Security and Medicare taxes paid while you were in the U.S.
