    Air Conditioning Leak
There is a leak coming from my air conditioning unit from the inside. My carpet is soaking wet and the floor underneath it looks unstable and ready to fall. My apartment complex has known about this for at least a month, but won't come over here and look at it, let alone fix it. I don't know where exactly in the unit the leak is coming from, but I'm getting tired of this. Is there anything temporary I can do to stop the leak?

You need to open the cover to the airhandler and check the drain to the pan under the coil. It has to be clogged. Poke around at the drain and get it open or the problem will only get worse. Post back with results

The maintenance man just showed up. He said that the floor above me had a leak yesterday and there is water caught between my ceiling and the floor upstairs, and he says its just draining off and its okay. Is that normal?

IF there was a leak up above that would make sense to me

But I mean is it normal for him to just leave it that way, leaking into my apartment?

I would think they would have gotten a wet vac and got all the water up in the upstair unit, however, what is between the floor and ceiling would be difficult to get short of cutting a hole.
