Leasing Tenants rights in Foreclosure Home
If we are renting a home and the home is in foreclosure status Can we be kicked out?
Can we complete our lease if not owned by the same lanlord?

The bank will send in a sherriff and set your stuff out, however you will be given fair notice of the date, by certified mail. You can take your current landlord to court. They will probably be ordered to pay you what it cost you to rent for the remainder of your lease... what it cost you to move and court cost. But if they are broke good luck on collecting. Also the new landlord will be the bank and all they will be interested in is selling it.

When a property is sold normally, any existing lease needs to be honored. However, if there is a foreclosure, then the lease is cancelled. You will get suffucent notice to move, but I doubt if you will get any recompense.
